Summer Memories 2009

We had a wonderful time up in Montana watching Matt's parents renew their wedding vows! It was so nice to be around so many wonderful people and get reacquainted with family we hadn't seen in a long time. Thanks for the memories Grandma and Grandpa! Ashley and Kelsey spent a few weeks up there before we arrived and had a wonderful time! We missed them like crazy, but we love the special bonds they form every time they go!

Spring and Summer Happenings 2009

That's Matt and I. I am never in any pictures and my kids always ask why, so I took one of us together. We had an awsome summer together as a family, and I will cherish the memories that we made!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Andrew and Dayton! We had to celebrate 2 weeks early with new helmets and bikes because someone stole Andrews bike while we were inside the gas station, and his bike was outside. I couldn't make him understand for nothing why his bike was gone! He loves his new bike, he just can't ride it very well. But we did celebrate their 3rd birthday up in Montana with Matt's family, and it was wonderful! I still can't believe that they are 3 years old! They are the best of friends and the cutest little things! I have truly been blessed to be the mom of twins. I just can't imagine life without them. Happy 3rd Birthday Dayton and Andrew!!!!!

My how these girls are growing up!

We went to Salt Lake City for a Quigley Reunion that was a blast! This is my brother Kenneth with Ashley and some of her cousins. It was so much fun to just be with my family! I love them all so much and feel that each and every day is a blessing because I have them in my life.

Yes, we did it in 9 days!!!!!! Nothing has come easy with these boys with the exception of potty training. I know people get sick of me talking about this, but 2 months later I am still over joyed that my boys are potty trained!!!!! My goal was to have them trained before they turned 3, and God must have known how much I needed this because it was way to easy!

This picture was from Easter, and I love the memories that I will have from this summer and the fishing poles that Andrew and Dayton received. They have been fishing with Kelsey and Matt and having the cutest time catching fish. We went camping last weekend and Kelsey caught her first catfish. We ended up eating it for breakfast. She was so proud of herself that she could name all the fish she caught! Andrew and Dayton are an absolute delight to watch fish. I could watch them for hours and still not be bored. And of course Matt is so excited that he now has three fishing buddies. He has still tried to get Ashley excited about fishing, but it's not working yet. we tease her that she will probably marry a fisherman.

Matt and Ashley planted an awsome garden this year. It was a first for us in our 13 years of marriage. Lets just say that Matt was called the garden natzi, and he was very serious about this project. Although I must say the last few weeks have been wonderful with so many great things to eat fresh every night!

Kelsey was baptized in March of 2009! It was a beautiful day with lots of family to celebrate with. We were so thankful that so many came to share the joy of baptism with Kelsey! This is one very special little girl and we are so proud to have her in our family!
